Growing up in Iran as the third of four children, I faced the strict expectations of my teacher parents in a repressive regime. Their focus on academics left me feeling shy and uncertain, striving for love and respect by conforming to their ideals. Despite the economic challenges of attending a private university for pharmacy, a turning point came when a friend invited me to a free art class led by a talented painter. This opportunity ignited my passion for art and set me on a transformative journey of self-expression.
